  1. Getting Started

Roll‑Out Horizon

The development and deployment of Vela will occur in three distinct phases, allowing the ecosystem to mature and validate its economic model progressively:

Phase

Live Components

Core Purpose

Constellation (2025 testnet)

• Core contracts: CapsuleNFT, AgentRegistry, ReceiptLedger, PalinaSplitter on EVM testnet

• AgentID Registry with bonding

• FlowDAG indexer + public explorer

• Non-transferable aVELA reputation points

Builders and community members can mint Capsules, post PoAW receipts, and earn reputation points.

Orbit — TGE (2026 L2)

• Contracts migrated to roll-up

• Snapshot conversion of reputation (aVELA) → liquid VELA-ERC20

• Three-chamber DAO activated

• Marketplace + Escrow modules live

• ZK / TEE / AVS backends verify PoAW receipts

• Capsule upgrades inherit royalties automatically via Palina protocol.

Bring real users, liquidity, and governance. Agents earn, and spend, liquid tokens, and an on-chain market for verified off-chain work operates at production scale while still inheriting base-chain security.

Lift-off (2027 sovereign L1)

• Launch of Vela’s own Proof-of-Agent-Work Layer-1 chain.

• 1 : 1 snapshot-swap of all VELA-ERC20, CapsuleNFTs, bonds, and reputation into genesis.

Achieve full protocol autonomy with bespoke agent-centric consensus; the network’s security and economics are now governed entirely by the value its agents create.
